Kennedy

Sean Kennedy, Owner and Founder of Kennedy, discovered his passion for building early in life, inspired by a family of skilled painters and carpenters. Sean was consistently engaged in hands-on projects, fueling his passion for transformation, from building tree forts to reconstructing BMX bikes. This experiential upbringing instilled a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, hard work and completing projects on time.

While in college, Sean harnessed the discipline and confidence instilled from playing collegiate football and earning a degree in Economics. Recognizing the potential of real estate, he combined his construction skills with his entrepreneurial drive and strategic mindset, setting the foundation for a business focused on transforming properties into valuable investments. He launched a carpentry business that grew into a full-service general contracting company, specializing in buying and renovating multi-family properties.

At 25, Sean’s father joined the business, bringing extensive renovation experience and a comprehensive understanding of Boston’s permitting process that bolstered the company’s growth. Guided by a leadership style rooted in family and leading by example, Sean prioritizes teamwork, trust, and collaboration to achieve shared goals.

Today, Kennedy reflects Sean’s commitment to teamwork, excellence, and delivering superior results. His vision for the company emphasizes sustainable growth while preserving its commitment to delivering exceptional results on time. He takes extraordinary pride in the versatility that defines Kennedy, delivering high-quality craftsmanship across a range of price points and providing tailored solutions for clients, whether collaborating with designers or managing selections directly.

With 17 years at Kennedy, Brian is a cornerstone of the team, managing daily operations, pricing projects, and collaborating with managers to meet budgets and deadlines. Starting his career from the ground up (digging out a basement in 2008 with Sean), he brings firsthand experience to every challenge, ensuring no question goes unanswered. Brian is inspired by the journey of transforming the old into something new, approaching each
project with patience, flexibility, and a commitment to client satisfaction. Partnering with trusted contractors and tradespeople, he guarantees quality through long-standing
relationships and weekly site meetings with clients to review the quality of materials and installations, ensuring excellence at every stage.

Eric has been a vital part of Kennedy for eight years, serving as a Site Construction Manager. With a mechanical engineering background, he thrives on transforming concepts into reality through the company’s design-build process. Eric excels at collaborating with clients, honing in on their unique design preferences to bring their vision to life. Dedicated to quality, he works closely with subcontractors to ensure strict compliance with structural and building codes while personally inspecting finishes daily to meet exacting standards. He believes Kennedy stands out for its unwavering commitment to quality and support,
extending beyond the warranty.

With eight years at Kennedy, Terry has been a key figure in delivering quality and precision as a Site Construction Manager. His journey into the construction industry began after years working at Home Depot’s Pro Desk, where he realized his passion for being in the field and seeing projects come to life. Terry excels at understanding each client’s vision, taking the time to walk through projects and align their unique perspectives. He ensures quality and customer satisfaction through daily site inspections and hands-on problem-solving with subcontractors. He takes pride in Kennedy’s commitment to quality, believing their buildouts are second to none.

For over 13 years, Lisa has been the backbone of the company’s financial management, overseeing payroll, accounts payable, employee benefits, and all key financials with unparalleled precision. A graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Management, Lisa’s expertise and attention to detail ensure the team and clients
can always rely on accurate and timely financial support. Her meticulous approach safeguards the company’s financial health, making her an indispensable asset to both the organization and its clients. Her dedication to excellence and collaborative spirit have made her a respected and valued leader.
